Harry Styles is a British singer and actor who rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction. Born on February 1, 1994 in Redditch, England, Styles grew up in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire.

Styles loved music and began pursuing his love at a young age by singing in a local choir and performing in school plays. In 2010, he auditioned for the British singing competition The X Factor, where he was placed in the boy band One Direction alongside Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan.
